Free Admission for GUAA Members to 21st Alumni Basketball Madness on February 4
The Gallaudet University men's and women's basketball teams will be hosting North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) opponent Lancaster Bible College. The women's game will start at noon and the men's game will follow at 2 p.m. This is a key NEAC South Division game for both teams. The Bison men's team is off to one of the best starts in program history after winning nine of their first 12 games and starting the year undefeated in conference play.

Gallaudet Clubs scheduled during regional Academic Bowl competitions in February and March
Gallaudet alumni can "hit two birds with one stone" by attending regional competitions for the Gallaudet University Academic Bowl for Deaf and Hard of Hearing High School Students as well as Gallaudet Clubs (alumni events).

Dr. John S. & Dr. Betty J. Schuchman have generously established an endowed a fund supporting documentary education, production and presentation.

Merv and Carol Garretson Scholarship Fund Close to Reaching Endowment Status
The St. Augustine Chapter of GUAA, Southeastern Florida Chapter of GUAA, and Central Florida Chapter of GUAA, and Gallaudet University signed an agreement on April 1, 2012, to create a scholarship fund to honor both Mervin D., '47, and Carol J., G-'68, Garretson. As of December, $18,700 has been raised. In order to make it fully endowed, a minimum of $25,000 needs to be raised by April 1, 2017. The chapters are asking for help in reaching the goal.
