Statement from the GUAA Board About the Vice President Selection Process
On October 3, 2017, Gallaudet University President Roberta J. "Bobbi" Cordano placed on hold a planned administrative restructuring. GUAA President Donalda Kay Ammons, '74, explains in English and ASL about this, and about the upcoming community dialogue process.

Latest Homecoming Schedule Online
With Homecoming being next week and expecting an unusually large number of alumni on Kendall Green, there have been some updates made to the Homecoming schedule in order to accommodate everyone. The College Bowl will be held at Elstad Auditorium and booths open at 11a on Homecoming Day (Saturday, October 21). We look forward to having everyone come together to celebrate Gallaudet's spirit and dont forget to wear your colors; be it your class colors or Gallaudet's colors!

Homecoming 2017 parking and traffic details now available
As in the past, all available parking on campus will be utilized on Saturday, October 21 (Homecoming day). There will be a temporary lift of zone restrictions, and all four gates will be open.

Board of Trustees Appoints Two New Members
Gallaudet University is pleased to announce the appointment of two new members of its Board of Trustees: Dr. Philip P. Kerstetter, PhD '85, and Dr. Gina A. Oliva, G-'77.

Gallaudet to Host Deaf Entrepreneurship Network Conference in November
Gallaudet is sponsoring the Deaf Entrepreneurship Network conference November 3-4,2017 which will take place at Gallaudet University. Anyone who already has or is interested in running a business is invited to attend this conference as this is a wonderful opportunity to network and learn more about entrepreneurship. In addition to the conference, there will be an expo. There are a few tickets left so be sure to register today at golden.org.

President Cordano Guest of Honor at WAGUAA Event in October
President Bobbi Cordano is the guest of honor at the Washington State Gallaudet University Alumni Association (WAGUAA) chapter event in Seattle, WA, on Saturday, October 28 as you will see in the flyer attached to the note when you open the link.

Riverside GUAA Chapter to Host Event for Student Scholarships
The Riverside Chapter of the GUAA is hosting a social gathering on Saturday, November 4 at Yard House in Riverside, CA. The goal is to raise money for student scholarships so that students are able to attend Gallaudet. See the flyer for more information.
