Final logo designs under consideration
The campus community is asked to provide feedback for the final six proposed logos under consideration for the new Gallaudet University logo. The deadline is November 11.
Four students featured in MTV's docu-series
MTVu, MTV's 24-hour college network, debuted its docu-series about Gallaudet University on October 24. Filmed on campus last fall by mtvU, the MTV division is dedicated to colleges and universities. The upbeat four-part series features current and former Gallaudet students and offers viewers a refreshing glimpse of Gallaudet through the eyes of these students.
Congressional Hearing on Deaf Higher Education and Employment
The presidents of Gallaudet University and the National Technical Institute for the Deaf gave testimony before the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions on October 11. This marks the first time that a congressional hearing featured an all-deaf witness panel.
House One DVD documentary planned
Watch a trailer for the upcoming documentary of House One with First Lady Vicki Hurwitz. The DVD will be released in 2012.
