It was bittersweet for seven of the 2004-2008 GUAA Board of Directors when they came to Gallaudet for the fall meeting during Homecoming. The meeting spelled the end of their term, and they will not be returning for the 2008-12 term.

GUAA Riverside Chapter to mark 20th anniversary of DPN
Philip Bravin, '66, will be the featured guest speaker at the 20th anniversary celebration of DPN at Indian Hills Golf Club in Riverside, Calif., on Sunday, November 16. The deadline for tickets is Wednesday November 5.

Gallaudet's Capital City Market survey
As part of the Capital City Market (6th Street) redevelopment, residential units are being proposed. The D.C. government and developers of the project are eager to get input from Gallaudet constituents to gauge the community's interest in housing.

Theatre Arts Department presents 'Fences'
"Fences," the first deaf production of an August Wilson play, is a bittersweet tale of family love, baseball, and fate set in Pittsburgh in 1957 in pre-Civil Rights America. Performance dates are November 13-23.
