Tiffany Williams Selected as Chair of Board of Trustees
In their biannual report, the Board of Trustees gives an update on different topics discussed during their meeting in October. One of them is the selection of a new chair to lead the Board of Trustees. Tiffany Williams, '89, is now chair of the Board.
Robert Panara to be Recognized on US Postal Service Stamp in 2017
Robert Panara, '45, former Gallaudet University professor, who was a pioneer for Deaf Studies and inspired many in the deaf community with his powerful use of ASL, will be featured on the 16th stamp in the Distinguished Americans set by the United States Postal Service (USPO) in 2017.

Gallaudet selects Hall McKnight as winner of international design competition
Hall McKnight of Belfast, Ireland, has been selected as the winner of the International Design Competition. The team will focus on creating a Gallaudet building at 6th Street and Florida Avnue and redefine the urban edge of the University to create a vibrant, mixed -use, creative and cultural district through public realm and landscape design.

Student experience survey is open to all Gallaudet alumni for Deaf Studies research
Marjorie Bates, a graduate student in the Deaf Studies department, is studying the interaction among Deaf, hard-of-hearing, and hearing students at Gallaudet in hopes of identifying areas for improvement in the Gallaudet student experience. Please click here to participate in the survey.
