Office of Alumni Relations Shares Information About Official Counts for Silver Anniversary Breakfasts Past and Present
For several years now, Silver Anniversary classes have vied for the highest number of class members to attend the Saturday morning breakfast hosted by the University which takes place during Homecoming. This is a friendly competition for "bragging rights." This year, there was some confusion about the count for the Class of 1992. The letter below was sent to the Classes of 1988, 1990, and 1992 about attendance at their Silver Anniversary breakfasts.
Gallaudet Men's Basketball Travels to the Northwest to Begin Season
The Gallaudet University men's basketball team is heading West and will play three games in the Northwest from Nov. 17-21. The Bison begin at Whitworth University in Spokane, Wash., on Nov. 17 at 8 p.m. (PST). The next day, GU is up against the No. 1 ranked team in NCAA Division III in Whitman College in Walla Walla, Wash., on Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. (PST). GU will wrap-up the trip on Tuesday, Nov. 21, at George Fox University Newberg, Ore., at 6 p.m. (PST).
DC GUAA to Host Fundraiser for MSSD Students by Hosting Hedy vs. Heidi Show
The DC Chapter of the Gallaudet University Alumni Association (GUAA) is hosting the Hedy vs. Heidi movie on Saturday, December 2 to raise funds for MSSD students attending Gallaudet. Purchases must be made online, and admission to the show is $20, with $15 for ages 13 and under. The show will be held at MSSD's Theatre Malz at 7 p.m.
President Cordano To Help KY GUAA Mark 45th Anniversary of Gallaudet and Clerc Banquet
The Kentucky Chapter of the Gallaudet University Alumni Association (GUAA) is hosting the 45th annual Gallaudet and CLerc banquet on Thursday, December 7, 2017, where President Cordano is the guest of honor. Tickets are $15 and must be purchased prior to the banquet which will be held at Grow Hall, Kentucky School for the Deaf, in Danville, KY. The deadline to get tickets is Wednesday, November 29.
