GUAA completes the $100,000 pledge to the GUAA/Charlotte W. Newcombe Endowed Scholarship Fund!
In 2014, on the occasion of Gallaudet's sesquicentennial, the Newcombe Foundation issued a $200,000 challenge grant for student scholarships. They pledged $100,000, contingent on the university raising the same amount over five years' time. GUAA took the challenge on behalf of the university and is proud to announce that the pledge has been met!
Charter Day Brunch and Awards Tickets Now On Sale!
The Laurent Clerc Cultural Fund (LCCF) of the Gallaudet University Alumni Association (GUAA) is planning the 49th Charter Day brunch and awards program, to take place Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.. Tickets are now on sale for $40 per person with a portion of the fee going to the LCCF. Five outstanding individuals will be recognized at the program for their contributions to the deaf community and beyond. Click on the link to purchase your ticket.
Gallaudet rallies to claim first Helmet Bowl national championship
Gallaudet's strong alumni and fan base rallied to help Gallaudet win the first Helmet Bowl national championship by voting online, edging out San Diego State University by a thousand votes.

Call for Deaf Artists who are Gallaudet Students & Alumni
Gallaudet University announces a call for Gallaudet Alumni and Gallaudet students who are deaf and hard-of-hearing artists for a juried Deaf Art exhibition and competition. This is an exciting competition to present awards to top five winning artists and will have their works published. Submission Form due March 8, 2018.
