2019 GUAA/LCCF award recipients announced
The Gallaudet University Alumni Association (GUAA) and the Laurent Clerc Cultural Fund (LCCF) will host their 49th annual Charter Day Luncheon and Awards Program on Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Kellogg Conference Hotel ballroom. This event will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the creation of the Laurent Clerc Cultural Fund. Tickets are $60 and the deadline to purchase tickets is Friday, March 29, 2019.
Charter Day Awards and Luncheon Tickets Now On Sale!
The Laurent Clerc Cultural Fund (LCCF) of the Gallaudet University Alumni Association (GUAA) is planning the 49th Charter Day awards and luncheon program, to take place Saturday, April 6, 2018 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.. Tickets are now on sale for $60 per person with a portion of the fee going to the LCCF. Seven outstanding individuals will be recognized at the program for their contributions to the deaf community and beyond. Click on the link to purchase your ticket.
Gallaudet Clubs scheduled during regional Academic Bowl competitions in February and March
Gallaudet alumni can "hit two birds with one stone" by attending regional competitions for the Gallaudet University Academic Bowl for Deaf and Hard of Hearing High School Students as well as Gallaudet Clubs (alumni events).

For more than 50 years, the Graduate Fellowship Fund Committee of the Gallaudet University Alumni Association (GUAA) has awarded grants to deaf and hard of hearing students who are studying for a doctoral or terminal degree.
Gallaudet University to Honor the Legacy of Bernard N. Bragg, '52 & H-'88
There will be a celebration of the life of Bernard Bragg '52 & H-'88, who was an icon of stage and screene. This will be held at the Gallaudet University Museum on Wednesday, March 13 at 3 p.m. Doors open at 2:30 p.m. and light refreshments will be served after the service.

Gallaudet University Library Deaf Collections and Archives is proud to announce that the staff members have completed arranging loose volumes of The Silent Worker (1948-1966) and The Deaf American (1966-1989) for scanning and uploading to the Archives' webpage recently.
