The Office of Alumni Relations has redesigned positions to reflect and meet the current trends of today's world. A position for assistant director of alumni and student programs has been created. Department of Business names computer lab suites in honor of Dr. Alan B. Crammatte, '32
Dr. Crammatte's legacy as founder of the Department of Business and a highly respected educator will live on for future generations of students, thanks to the knowledge they will acquire in the newly refurbished Business Computer Lab Suites, named in his honor at a January 24 ceremony.

Tami Hossler, mother of Gallaudet alumni Erica Hossler, '08, received the 2011 Woman of the Year Award by the National Organization of Phi Kappa Zeta Sorority, Inc. for her achievements and advocacy for the deaf community.

Save the Date! Charter Day to occur during Academic Bowl
This year Charter Day will occur the same weekend as the Natonal Academic Bowl Competition. GUAA/LCCF, Alumni Relations and Admissions are hosting Charter Day this year so that the award recipients will have an opportunity to mingle with parents of students involved in the academic bowl.
Dancing with Gallaudet Stars to benefit 2013 Deaf People of Color Conference
Enjoy an elegant evening's entertainment on February 11, and help support a great cause, when well-known deaf personalities and deaf dancers don dancing shoes and sparkling attire to compete for the title of best dance couple. A panel of distinguished judges--and the audience--will decide on which three couples from the first round will compete in the elimination round.
