Bummy Chair becomes first chair fully endowed by a deaf person
The $1 million endowment will start appointing scholars to study and research leadership in the deaf community.

Jerald Jordan, affectionately known as "JJ," a member of the Class of 1948, died on March 26 at his home in West River, Md. He was 80 years old.
