Feature on Coach Curtis Pride and Bison baseball team to air on CBS
Before the NCAA Division I Final Four men's basketball games this Saturday, April 6, in Atlanta, Ga., CBS viewers will see a feature on Gallaudet University baseball coach Curtis Pride and his team in the "Buick Human Highlight Reel" show.

Call for nominations for Visionary Leaders
In celebration of Gallaudet University's upcoming sesquicentennial celebration entitled "150 Years of Visionary Leadership," nominations are requested for notable "Visionary Leaders" to be featured each month throughout the celebrations. The deadline for nominations is April 30, 2013.

Second Episode of Alumni NOW! released!
"Alumni NOW!", a new TV program created by Gallaudet, which was established in January 2013 with the first episode, now has a second one out! The program features a panel of alumni discussing a variety of topics. It's a great way to stay connected to Gallaudet!

Student speakers for Commencement announced
Provost Stephen Weiner announced in an April 4 campus email the student speakers for the 144th annual Commencement exercises, which will be held on Friday, May 17 beginning at 1:30 p.m. in the Field House.

U.S. Secretary of Transporta?tion to give Gallaudet 2013 Commenceme?nt address
United States Secretary of Transportation Ray LaHood will address the Class of 2013 at the University's 144th Commencement exercises on Friday, May 17. Secretary LaHood will also receive the degree of Doctor of Laws, honoris causa.
