Installation of Dr. Robert Davila, '53, as 9th President
Dr. Robert R. Davila will be installed as Gallaudet's ninth president on Wednesday, May 9 at 3:30 p.m. in the Field House. The installation will be followed by an open reception in the Jordan Student Academic Center. It is open to the public.

Commencement 2007 honorees are Dr. Betty G. Miller, '57, and Dr. Albert J. Simone
Gallaudet University will hold its 138th Commencement on Friday, May 11, 2007.

2007 Spring GUAA Board Meeting Highlights
The GUAA Board of Directors met once again to hear reports and take action on numerous items on April 19, 2007.

Couple makes donation in honor of President Robert Davila
To celebrate President Robert Davila's, '53, installation on May 9, a Florida couple decides to make a donation. They hope other alumni will be inspired to follow suit.

Gallaudet Club during 2007 regional academic bowls
For alumni, the regional academic bowls are two-for-one events. Not only do they get to cheer on the best and brightest deaf high school students but they also get to hang out and renew old friendships with other alumni at Gallaudet Club events.

Kansas GUAA Chapter co-hosts 2nd annual picnic with Kansas NTID/RIT Alumni
Both Gallaudet and NTID/RIT Alumni in Kansas look forward to their 2nd annual picnic on Saturday, May 12 in Olathe, KS at Frontier Park.

Barbeque for alumni in Oregon & Washington
A potluck barbeque will be held in Vancouver, WA hosted by Pacific Northwest GUAA Chapter on June 3, 2007.

Survey of electronic communications during Gallaudet protest
Alumni and friends are welcome to participate in a survey about communications using computer and electronic technology during the 2006 protests. The deadline for responses is May 15.
