Gallaudet University Homecoming Date Correction
In the Spring 2015 issue of Gallaudet Today magazine, the date for this year's Homecoming is erroneously published on page 32. The correct date for Homecoming is October 22-24, 2015.

Biology Professor Caroline Solomon Featured in NPR Segment on Great Teachers
Dr. Caroline Solomon, a professor in the Science, Technology, and Mathematics Department, is featured in NPR. The story chronicles Dr. Solomon in the classroom, out on the Anacostia River during her research projects, and touches on her teaching style and how she inspires her students.

Gallaudet University Athletic Social Media Ranked No. 1 in NCAA Division III
The Gallaudet University Athletic Social Media platforms, operated by the Sports Information Office, finished the 2014-15 school year ranked No. 1 in NCAA Division III out of 450 schools.

Gallaudet's Elena Ciccarelli selected for Sports Illustrated's Faces in the Crowd
Gallaudet University recent graduate Elena Ciccarelli, '15 is featured in the June 1 issue of Sports Illustrated as one of six people selected for the weekly "Faces in the Crowd" section.

Actress Audree Norton Passes Away
Audree Norton, '52, who received a honorary doctorate degree from Gallaudet in 2012, has passed away at the age of 88. Audree helped establish the National Theatre of the Deaf and was the first deaf actress to appear on national television in 1969, on the CBS crime series, MANNIX.
