2015 Homecoming Schedule Now On Web
There is something for everyone at Homecoming this year as the schedule is jam packed with activities. GUAA President Reynolds Shares Information on Upcoming GUAA Electon in Vlog
With the GUAA Election for the 2016-2020 Board of Directors coming up, GUAA President Alyce Slater Reynolds, '76 & G-'78 shares information on the nomination process in her vlog. Reynolds also talks about the newest feature - online ballots which will be done in the final part of the election in June 2016.

Status of Gallaudet Almanac
At the Gallaudet Reunion in 2014, GUAA announced that attendees would receive the second edition of Gallaudet Almanac later in the year. The project is still underway.

Seth Bravin appointed to the Board of Trustees
Gallaudet University announced on July 29, 2015 the appointment of Seth Bravin, '96, to its Board of Trustees. Bravin's tenure will begin at the October 2015 Board of Trustees meeting.

Gallaudet One of Sponsors at Deaf Seniors of America Conference in Asheville, NC
Gallaudet plans to have a booth at the Deaf Seniors of America conference in Asheville, NC. The Office of Alumni Relations and Gallaudet University Alumni Association (GUAA) along with the Office of Development will be representing Gallaudet. Gallaudet will also be hosting an event on Tuesday, August 25, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Gallaudet hosts leaders from Small Business Administration, FCC to announce new videophone service for deaf entrepreneurs
The U.S. Small Business Association (SBA) held a press conference at Gallaudet University to officially launch, in partnership with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), its ASL Video Phone Service.

Nyle DiMarco, '13, is breaking ground as the first deaf participant in the popular and long-running television show. New season starts August 5.

Gallaudet's Elena Ciccarelli selected as NEAC nominee for NCAA Woman of the Year
Gallaudet University senior Elena Ciccarelli, '15, (Whitesboro, N.Y.) candidacy for the 2015 NCAA Woman of the Year award continued Thursday when the field of 480 candidates was narrowed down to 147 conference honorees. Ciccarelli was selected as the North Eastern Athletic Conference's (NEAC) nominee and becomes the first Gallaudet student-athlete to receive this distinction.

Kevin Kovacs named new men's basketball head coach
Gallaudet University alum and former Bison student-athlete Kevin Kovacs, '95 & G-'97, has been selected as the new men's basketball head coach as announced by Athletic Director Michael Weinstock, '81 & G-'94. Kovacs will begin his new duties on August 17.

Deaf and Hard of Hearing VRS Users Invited to participate in an Online Survey about VRS
Your opinion counts: The Technology Access Program at Gallaudet University, in partnership with the Video Access Technology Reference Platform (VATRP) team is conducting an online survey to learn about your wishes and needs for video relay service (VRS) software.
