Alumni eNewsletter: Sherry Bravin Duhon's 'farewell... not' message to alumni (Archives)

I wanted to share with all of you that I have accepted a job with the College of Professional Studies and Outreach as coordinator of conferences and special events.

My work here in the Alumni Office for the past eight years has given me such strong ties with alumni all over the country. That is something I will always value and I hope that these ties will be even stronger in the future, since my new position will allow me to continue working with you, but in a different capacity. That is why I am not saying farewell! This will not be the last you hear from me!

Thank you all so much for making me feel like I was working with family members in my position here! Please feel free to get in touch with me and I will be using the same e mail address Please continue to be on the lookout for volunteer sign-up opportunities at the Academic Bowl competitions in Alabama, Indiana, Colorado, West Virginia, and Vermont. It is a golden opportunity for our high school students to see Gallaudet alumni at work and to make them realize that it is worth coming to Gallaudet!

Happy holidays and make the year 2008 be the best for you all and Gallaudet!
