Today, Presidential Search Advisory Committee (PSAC) Chair wrote a letter to the community:
Following our PSAC2014 meeting this week, we wanted to provide you with a brief update on our Presidential search.
It is now three weeks since the position description was posted on the Gallaudet website and other forums. The response has been positive and we are receiving a steady stream of nominations and applications. Our search firm has now begun its interview process.
Given this encouraging progress, the PSAC 2014 was able to determine a timeline for the search process and is therefore establishing a deadline for applications of Monday, March 2, 2015.
We continue to be grateful for the community's involvement in this search process and look forward to continuing to receive nominations during the month of February.
Note: For the benefit of readers, this alumni enewsletter is re-printing the letter containing the job description sent to the community including alumni three weeks ago.
Dear Gallaudet Community,

This officially launches our search for the 11th President of Gallaudet University.
The position description will remain on the PSAC2014 web portal for the duration of the search and we encourage you to circulate the opportunity to your own networks.
The Presidential Search Advisory Committee invites your nominations and applications for President at Gallaudet@bridgepartnersllc.com. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
