The Gallaudet Dance Company is pleased to announce its upcoming 48th annual spring dance concert entitled, "Phoenix" on Friday, April 25th at 11 am and 8 pm; and Saturday, April 26th at 8 pm in the Elstad Auditorium, Gallaudet University. The show is dedicated to the heroic exploits of the United States space program. Guest and student choreographers who are presenting new pieces will be Jane Franklin, Debra Floyd, Phyllis Gaines, Christopher Smith, Wawa Snipe, Irvine Stewart, Lokeni Tiatia, Sophie Kiskinis Warmack, and Maya Yamada. The 2003 spring dance concert includes guest performances from National Deaf Dance Academy Dancers, Eleanor Roosevelt High School Dance Company, National Deaf Dance Theater, Wild Zappers, Alumni Gallaudet Dancers, and Jane Franklin Company.
The cost is $10.00 Adults/$8.00 Students, Senior Citizens, and Children. Box Office at Elstad Auditorium, 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm, M - F, April 21 - 26, 2003 (Tickets will also be sold at the door, one hour before each performance.) All performances are open seating. For the best seats, we suggest you arrive half an hour before show time. Please allow extra time for security checks at the front gate.
