Chestnut Assisted Living
Everyone is welcome to come including your children, partners, friends, and spouses except that we will not provide the child care. It is a "golden" opportunity for you to come to see the new deaf and hard of hearing senior citizens assisted living center. There will be a brief meeting to discuss and vote to have GUAA as "social organization or official organization" The social organization will only focus on providing a social event once or twice a year while the official organization will include the elected officers". We will have an opportunity to vote. The details will be given at the meeting. Show our GALLAUDET PRIDE!!!
After the meeting, Dan Brubaker, '89 & G-'93, Account Manager for Sprint, will give an inspirational presentation. After his presentation, two "duo" deaf women show~ Debi Duren, E-'82 and Kim Bucha will tell the classic stories, folklores and more!!!!

There will be an all day Deaf Women Artists Show. Come and see the artists' work.
Dallas/Fort Worth GUAA Chapter
On September 17, a group of alumni got together and revived the Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter at Crowley Park in Richardson, Texas.
The newly elected officers are: President Patty Covell, '86, Vice President Cathy Edler, '87, and Secretary/Treasurer Patricia A. Underbrink, '86. Congratulations to them and alumni in Dallas/Fort Worth!
